Working on some new pieces for the 'Precious' Christmas show in the KickArts Gallery Shop. It will be a very colourful Christmas this year. As it is getting hotter here in Cairns it is a little strange to have to start thinking about Christmas but I guess it is there before you know it. Has Christmas crossed your mind already?

Mac- It might be because summer is just around the corner in this part of the world....actually today we've had our first real significant rainfall since at least 6 weeks. The plants are smiling.
Yes, christmas crossed my mind already this year - when I saw a shop window that was decorated for christmas already two weeks ago! Isn't that a bit early?? I'm curious how your christmas will look like this year...
Birge- That is really early I would say although we have been putting out Christmas cards last weekend. I don't have any idea yet what our Christmas will look like but it won't be white like yours (an almost certain guess with the weather pattern over the last years in Europe).Our wooden Christmas tree is patiently waiting in the spare bedroom for this year's appearance. Shall I paint it?
Yes, paint it! Why not? I'd say, if not living in a country with a "classical" christmas, with snow and red noses and sleighs and green christmas trees, candles and Glühwein, it should be totally different...!
